Its rechargeable battery powers you through up to 7,500 page turns, so you’re ready for the long haul, and can be recharged in as little as 4 hours with the AC adaptor.
A very compact and light design you can take almost anywhere. And with 192MB of internal memory, and a slot for optional removable memory cards you can take many titles, user-selected Web content, or other supported documents for reading on the go.

International Warranty Protection
Protect your investment knowing that you will have worldwide warranty protection . Sony only sells these in the USA/Canada. So the warranty for the PRS-505 is ONLY valid in the USA/Canada. Sony Service will not ship a replacement unit outside the USA. However, I will expedite the warranty from my address here in the USA. I will get you a replacement unit if a problem develops within the warranty covered period(buyer is responsible for shipping charges for the replacement unit). I have included a link to the warranty below. So you can verify for yourself that the warranty is only valid in the USA/Canada:

Please Note: Delivery time with USPS Priority International is always longer than the 6-10 business days quoted by the courier. If you choose USPS Priority Shipping.....expect shipping times of 10-21 days or longer to some countries. Tracking number will be provided for shipping however, tracking with USPS Priority is done as a courtesy and does not update consistently on the USPS site. USPS Express Mail is a faster service with tracking updates regularly. Delivery time is about 5-8 business days or longer to some countries....depending on customs.
Please do not hold me accountable for shipping transit times. All I can do as a seller is answer your emails quickly and ship your item in a timely manner. Once your item ships, it is out of my hands. I have no control over service transit times or how long an item spends in customs before being cleared. So when choosing Priority expect delivery to take longer than 6-10 business days quoted by the courier.
